Volfas Engelman Historical Unfiltered has historical links not only to the I. B. Volfas Engelman trademark, registered in 1927. The packaging of the can shows a timeline of the entire complex and changing history of the company since 1853, and a portrait of the founder R. Volfas.
Unfiltered and historical because of its similarity to brewery beer produced in the interwar period. Although the I. B. Volfas Engelman brewery had the most advanced equipment of those times, the beer was not being filtered, so the remaining beer yeast would sink to the bottom of the bottle.
The upside-down image on the packaging is not an error. This way one pays attention to flip the bottle carefully up and down several times before opening, to spread the yeast throughout the beer, thus giving it a more luxurious taste.
